IF IT DOESN'T SELL,
WE TAKE IT BACK.
Three blends on your shelf, we are in every month to face them up ourselves, and if it has not moved in 90 days we swap it for fresh stock or credit you every dollar you paid for it. You are risking the space. We are risking the money.
SEE WHAT A FACING IS WORTHTakes a few seconds, no details needed, and the number is yours to check.
WHAT A FACING
IS WORTH.
Shelf space is the one thing you cannot make more of, so it has to earn. Move the slider to however many bags you think you would shift in a week and see what the space pays you over a year.
Based on a 30% retail margin and our recommended retail price of $20 for 250g and $65 for 1kg, over 52 weeks. Your margin is set by your tier, so talk to us and we will give you your real numbers rather than these ones.
GET YOUR REAL NUMBERSA BAG EARNS ITS SPACE BY BEING
PICKED UP TWICE.
The first pick up is the packaging. The second only happens if the coffee was genuinely worth coming back for, so that is the product we set out to make. Three blends, the roast date printed on every bag, and no startup-deal stock designed to sit on a shelf.
It tastes the same every time
9 years, 3 blends, same Probat. Someone who liked it in March gets the same bag in November. That's the whole job.
Nobody walks past these bags
Every other bag in the aisle is beige with a small serif logo. Ours are full illustrations, front to back. Put them at eye level and they're the only thing on that shelf anyone actually looks at.
Three blends, not thirty
Light, middle, dark. Your customer decides in 10 seconds and walks out with one. You're not carrying dead stock in slow lines.
Fresh, every week
Coffee's best in the first couple of weeks. We drop weekly, so what's facing your customers is close to the roast date instead of sitting on a pallet somewhere.
Whole bean, because it's better
Coffee starts losing it the second it's ground. We back whole bean because that's how it's best drunk, and we'd rather tell you that than chase an easier sale.
Your customers get the brew guide
Free on our site, with a recipe for every method. They make a better cup at home. That's what brings them back for the next bag.
Good coffee sells. It's not more complicated than that.
BOOK 15 MINUTES
WE CARRY THE RISK,
NOT YOU.
Every buyer we meet has been burned by a local product that looked great in the pitch and then sat there for a year. So we are not asking you to believe us. We are asking you to give us the space and let us take the money risk.
We try moving it first
Placement is usually the answer, not the product. Eye level beats bottom shelf, and next to the good chocolate beats next to the home brand instant. We will ask to try it somewhere else before anybody talks about credits.
Then, at 90 days, your call
Whatever has not sold, we swap for fresh stock or we collect it and credit at exactly what you paid. Not a discount and not a credit note you have to spend with us. Fresh coffee, or the money.
Shelf life is on your side
12 months from roast, and it lands with us having roasted it that week. Nothing on your shelf is close to the edge, so a slow first month is not a problem to solve in a hurry.
Nothing to sign for any of it
No contract, no minimum term, no exclusivity clause and no exit fee. If the product earns its space you will keep it, and if it does not, no piece of paper should be forcing you to.
EASY TO START. EASY TO REORDER.
You've got enough suppliers to chase. We try hard not to be one of them.
Start with one shelf
Take a small first order and see what happens. No pallet, and no volume discount sitting at a number you'd never order anyway.
Order however suits you
Through the portal if you like a system. Text us if you don't. Your pricing and your history sit in there either way, so you're never guessing what you paid last time.
We come and see you
At least once a month we're in, facing it up and topping up what's gone. We won't be under your feet, but a shelf doesn't look after itself.
A nudge every week
One message so you never have to remember the order. Give us a number, or tell us you're right for the week.
90 days, or we take it back
If it hasn't moved the way you expected, we swap the unsold stock for fresh coffee or credit you what you paid. Your call. You're not stuck wearing it.
Coffee is all we do
One product, three blends, done properly. Nothing else pulling our attention. That's why it turns up the same every time.
We deliver Perth metro ourselves, every week. No contract, no minimum term.
PUT US ON ONE SHELFWHAT WE CAN ACTUALLY SHOW YOU.
We could fill this band with quotes. Until our stockists have said something in their own words, here are three things you can check instead.
And when quotes from our stockists do land here, they will be real ones, with the store named.
THE THINGS GROCERS ACTUALLY ASK.
What margin do we make?
30% or better, and you keep it. Our recommended retail price is fixed and it is the same everywhere the coffee is sold, including our own website, so nobody is undercutting your shelf and there is no reason to discount it to move it. It is a premium product that sits at a premium price and holds it, which is a rarer thing on a grocery shelf than it should be.
What if it does not sell?
First we look at placement, because that is usually the answer, and we will ask to try it somewhere else in the store. If it still has not moved at 90 days, your call: we swap the unsold stock for fresh coffee, or we collect it and credit you exactly what you paid. Not a credit note you have to spend with us.
What is the minimum order?
There isn't one, and delivery is free. We usually suggest something around 40 bags of 250g for a first drop, because a shelf with presence sells and a shelf with three bags on it does not. That is a suggestion, not a hurdle. Start at a size you are comfortable with and grow it.
How often do you deliver, and do you look after the shelf?
Weekly across Perth metro in our own van, and we come in monthly to face the stock up and top it up ourselves. A shelf does not look after itself and we are not going to ask you to look after ours. Regional and interstate goes with Australia Post.
What sizes do you do?
250g and 1kg, whole bean. We can grind it if you really want, but coffee starts losing it the moment it is ground, and someone buying specialty beans at a grocer usually has a grinder at home. Whole bean is what we would put on a shelf.
Do you supply anything besides coffee?
Retail shelf stock is coffee only, three blends in two sizes, because we would rather do one thing properly than fill your aisle. Chocolate, chai and tea are a wholesale and workplace thing, so if you run a coffee counter as well then ask us, because that side of the business carries a lot more.
Are we locked in?
No. No contract, no minimum term, no exclusivity and no exit fee. If the product earns its space you will keep it, and if it does not then no piece of paper should be forcing you to.
ASK US THE HARD ONE.
Buyers want to know what happens if it sits there, so ask us that one first and we will answer it properly. Text us and we will not ring you about it. No pitch, and we will tell you straight if your store is not right for it.
Or leave your details and we will come back with the numbers for your store.
Got a coffee counter as well as a shelf? The counter side carries a lot more, and that is the wholesale page. Staff coffee for an office or back room is here.
